In the stars was inspired by a Tweet by Karine Polwart about a PHD student, Annie Lennox, who was given permission by NASA to name a crater on Mercury. Annie had discovered the crater while working as part of a group mapping the planet's surface.
Annie named the crater after Lady Carolina Nairne, a 18th/19th century Scottish poet & songwriter who, although prolific was unknown at the time because a woman at that time could not get published.
